{"id":31297,"date":"2025-12-09T14:02:26","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T19:02:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=31297"},"modified":"2025-12-09T15:13:37","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T20:13:37","slug":"crash-claims-life-of-a-berne-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2025\/12\/09\/crash-claims-life-of-a-berne-women\/","title":{"rendered":"Crash claims life of a Berne woman"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>BOB SHRALUKA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>WZBD.com<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Berne woman died Monday morning in a one-car accident northeast of Fort Wayne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A release from the Allen Coroner\u2019s Office has identified the driver as Madelyn Brianne Wurster, 25, of Berne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was alone in the car which veered off Irving Road near Thimlar around 6 a.m., according to Allen County police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After leaving the road, the vehicle struck a driveway embankment and went airborne before crashing into a tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The coroner ruled death was caused by multiple blunt force injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The accident remains under investigation.
