{"id":30435,"date":"2025-10-30T15:39:28","date_gmt":"2025-10-30T19:39:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=30435"},"modified":"2025-10-30T15:39:30","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T19:39:30","slug":"holiday-season-in-decatur-to-get-brighter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2025\/10\/30\/holiday-season-in-decatur-to-get-brighter\/","title":{"rendered":"Holiday season in Decatur to get brighter"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>By BOB SHRALUKA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>WZBD.com<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Christmas season is going to get considerably brighter and finer in downtown Decatur, thanks to the efforts of Decatur Main Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jamie Gephart, the city&#8217;s community coordinator, told city council at its latest meeting that the Main St. group of volunteers \u2013 of which she is a member \u2013 has secured $20,000 worth of new downtown decorations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decorations were available from Artistic Holiday Designs of South Whitley \u2013 free of charge!
