Dakota Sprunger and Ethan Crockett represented Adams County runners in the top five of Saturday’s Delta Sectional, won by Norwell as a team, with Sprunger’s runner-up finish leading the Starfires to a regional berth as a team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Difficult conditions led to slower times, especially among those who had competed just a week prior, but Dakota Sprunger was just off his season best by a few seconds to set himself up for another run at the State Finals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bellmont took sixth, sorely missing Maddux Miller, but they still managed to get four members of the team out, with Logan Whitacre surviving as the last man in with a time of 18:41. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
