The Decatur Chamber’s ninth annual Highland Games will be held this Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 15 men and 12 women will be participating in the Games held in Riverside Park, behind Riverside Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No admission is charged for the family-friendly event, which will include food and drink vendors, games for youngsters, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening ceremonies are set for 11:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women’s events are: Weight for distance, putting of the stone, hammer throw, bags and barrels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Men’s events are: Hammer throw, weight for distance, putting of the stone, weight for weight, caber toss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications were recently held and determined the lineups for Saturday:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
