Music and fun will continue on the Madison St. Plaza in Decatur this Saturday when the second edition of the Festival de Hispanos will be held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hours for the festival, which proved to be hugely popular when held for the first time last year, will be 3-9 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No admission will be charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year’s event drew an estimated 1,500 people \u2013 when 300 or so were expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the plaza and Second St. will be used for numerous vendors who will be on hand, including a multitude of Hispanic food trucks, according to festival director Carson Canales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Music will be filling the air most of the day, with four musical acts and two dance troops \u2013 one of which will be coming from Indianapolis \u2013 performing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A beer garden will be open and artwork will be on display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of the attractions for the youngsters will be pinatas and face painting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another popular feature will be \u201clow riders.\u201d Wikipedia says that type of vehicle \u201cis a customized car with a lowered body that emerged among Mexican-American youth in the 1940s.
