To honor the ultimate sacrifices of local loved ones from this war and other US armed conflicts, we <a><\/a>are proud to announce the initial completion of the Adams County Gold Star Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ten years ago, BHS History Teacher Bryan Lineberry began having his students complete narratives of individuals who had significant ties to Adams County that died while in service during World War II. (Photo provided)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Over 100 students have been a part of this project locally since 2014,&#8221; said Mr. Lineberry. &#8220;Each of these students have played a small role in preserving these stories. They have not only learned history, but they have become historians preserving the legacy of our community\u2019s heroes.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stories were initially completed at the end of this past school year.
