That kept the dance area in front of the band busy most of the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The music was not only good stuff, but encompassed a wide variety: Hughie Lewis &amp; The News and White Snake, the Go-Go&#8217;s and Poison, Guns &amp; Roses and Michael Jackson, The Escape Club and Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac and Paula Abdul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"317\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/voglewedeplumbing.jpg?resize=640%2C317&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18810\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/voglewedeplumbing.jpg?w=1000&amp;ssl=1 1000w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/voglewedeplumbing.jpg?resize=300%2C149&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/voglewedeplumbing.jpg?resize=768%2C380&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Vocalists Justin Lee Whaley and Vickie Harter brought enthusiasm to their effort, which was obviously appreciated by both the dancers and the sitters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only break taken by the band brought local talent Lexi Lamons, a Bellmont grad, to the stage for the third year. (Photo by Bob Shraluka)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sunglasses will be on again at night in Decatur on Sept. 13 when the band plays the St. Marys Fall Fest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ORIGIN: \u201cSunglasses at Night&#8221; is a song by Canadian singer Corey Hart which was released on January 21, 1984, as the first single from his debut album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How the name came about is an odd tale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to co-producer Phil Chapman, the recording sessions for the album took place in a studio whose air conditioning\/heating vents were directly above the mixing console.
