Wren Homecoming 2025 kicks off Friday and continues Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual event schedules all sorts of activities, featuring the annual wiffle tournament at Wrenway Park. The Ohio village bills itself as the \u201cWiffleball Capital of the World.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year’s tournament, the 33rd, will include 16 teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lifelong Wren resident Bill Tumbleson will throw out the first pitch on Friday at 5:50 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Marine Corps veteran, and longtime community leader, Bill helped develop the Wren Ballpark Association and coached girls\u2019 softball for years. \u201cWhen he\u2019s not serving on the village council, you\u2019ll find him and his wife Joann tending to their beautiful garden,\u201d an announcement said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bill and his wife, the former Joann Halberstadt of Pleasant Mills, have been married 66 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A worship service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Moser Park and the Wren Heritage food shack will be open from 5:30 to p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6:30 p.m. Little Miss and Mr. Wiffleball Pageant at Moser Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8 p.m. Burnout for Car Show Participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9 p.m. Inflatable Race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9:30 p.m. Midnight: Music by Brother Believe Me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* Saturday, October 25:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7-11 a.m. Wren Fire & EMS Pancake and Sausage Breakfast at the fire station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8 a.m. Beverage Garden Opens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8:30 a.m. Wiffleball Tournament Resumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11 a.m.-3 p.m. Food Tent Opens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12 noon Cornhole, Rib Roast Judging, Pie Bake Off, and Prince and Princess Announcement at Wrenway Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1:30 p.m. Egg Toss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2:15 p.m. Pie Eating Contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 p.m. Parade Lineup and Judging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
