They do things a little differently in Ohio and when it comes to high school golf, it may mean the difference in the match. That’s exactly how things played out Tuesday in Portland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Fort Recovery were the home team, the match was played at the Portland Country Club, but under Ohio rules, which meant six players and some different rules for the course than the Starfires might be accustomed to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olivia Knapke led Fort Recovery with a 46 and took medalist honors, leading the designated home team to a 199-212 win. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sophia Orr had the best round for the Stars, finishing with a 51. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
