It’s back to rock ‘n roll Thursday as the Decatur Chamber’s 2025 Summer Concert Series heads to the homestretch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With two months of music completed, just four shows are left as the eighth year of the series turns into August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week’s performance by Silver Stallion, a tribute to the Highwaymen, brought a round of top-drawer country music to the Madison St. Plaza after several weeks of hard and pop rock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, Crush: The Bon Jovi Concert Experience will be performing from 7-9 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band made its first appearance in Decatur last year, performing for the annual Fourth of July celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Local talent will again open for the band, with Bellmont High School senior Paulie T. Morgan to take the stage at 6:45.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morgan<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Morgan, who opened one of last year’s concerts, has performed in 12 musicals and two plays at Bellmont and is in his fourth year as a member of the Brave Generation Show Choir. He also writes, directs, and acts in his own films alongside friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No admission is charged. Food is available, along with adult beverages from The Oasis Pub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crush, formed in 2019, is headed by lead vocalist Doug Shepard, who bears a striking resemblance to Jon Bon Jovi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also brings Bon Jovi’s stage presence and vocal style to the show, rocking the best of the Bon Jovi’s hits like \u201cLiving on a Prayer\u201d, \u201cYou Give Love a Bad Name\u201d, \u201cWanted Dead or Alive\u201d, \u201cIt’s My Life\u201d and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Decatur, the band is performing all around Indiana \u2013 Shelbyville, Anderson, Martinsville, Auburn \u2013 plus dates in Fort Recovery and other Ohio communities<\/p>\n\n\n\n
