{"id":27825,"date":"2025-07-30T07:48:38","date_gmt":"2025-07-30T11:48:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=27825"},"modified":"2025-07-30T07:48:39","modified_gmt":"2025-07-30T11:48:39","slug":"rosemarie-gaskill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2025\/07\/30\/rosemarie-gaskill\/","title":{"rendered":"Rosemarie Gaskill"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Rosemarie Gaskill, 66, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Adams Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones, following a courageous three-year battle with cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/candle-20387361920.jpg?resize=300%2C375&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27826\" style=\"width:264px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/candle-20387361920.jpg?w=300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/candle-20387361920.jpg?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>She was born on February 2, 1959, in Hicksville, Ohio, to Jerry Schwartz and Maggie Pearl (Caperton) Carr. In 1988, she married the love of her life, Robert &#8220;Bob&#8221; Gaskill, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rosemarie was employed for many years at Goldshield in Decatur. She was a proud lifetime member of the Eagles Aerie #2653 and also a member of the Moose Lodge #1311.
