Under Indiana law, firms receiving tax abatements must make annual reports on progress made on fulfilling vows it made to the city in order to receive the abatement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new cutter \u201cis working five to seven times faster\u201d than the machine it replaced, Sorg told council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;re already experiencing some new customers \u2026 and working faster\u201d for the customers already has.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the time he was seeking the abatement, Sorg said the new piece of equipment would represent an investment of $478,278.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Metal N Motion is located at 827 S. 11th&nbsp;St. (north of the Red Barn veterinary clinic).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has been in Monroeville for 12 years and is currently in its fourth year in Decatur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tax abatements are given on a sliding scale.
