Heritage’s most dynamic female athlete, Alexa Walter, was the champion at Saturday’s elite Thrower Showcase at Bluffton, winning the shot put and setting a new PR in the discus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walter won the shot put by nearly two feet and was still about four feet short of the throw she made at the New Haven Relays of over 41′.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Walter only finished fifth in the discus, she shattered her previous personal record of 94-08 (ACAC championship) with a throw of 104-03. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
