With less than a week to go, the Bellmont Braves have done just about everything they can do for the 2025 regular season in varsity tennis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’ve defeated all of their county opponents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All five sectional rivals have fallen at the hands of the Braves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, after Thursday’s 5-0 win at DeKalb, the Braves are already NE8 champions and they’ll have a chance to make it a 7-0 conference season in their finale Monday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Braves are not ready to rest, however. With all that they’ve accomplished, there’s no reason the team should not be celebrating their first sectional title since 2011. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bellmont dominated the Barons at their beautiful facility, especially in the singles matches, winning all three in straight sets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lilyana Suarez and Ella Ross also played well, winning in straight sets at No. 1 doubles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Averie Coats and Alyssa Coffey showed the pride the team has in its varsity results by fighting back from a 6-2 loss in the opening set to complete the sweep. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
