The Heritage Patriots were no match for a very good FW Northrop team Thursday night, with the Bruins pushing their season record ahead of next week’s sectional to 14-4 with a win in straight sets, 25-23, 25-21, 25-22. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zachary Mosher led the bruins with eleven kills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zeke Litchfield once again led the Patriots with 10 kills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eli Tigulis and Graham Simmons had two aces apiece. Simmons also had two blocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Patriots’ season record now matches that of the Bruins at 14-4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team will now prepare for next week’s sectional, which is set to be held at South Side and under the auspices of the IHSAA for the first official time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of the four teams that have beaten Heritage this year, three are in the northern area sectional, away from the Patriots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team is on the opposite half of the bracket from Homestead, the team that knocked them out of last year’s tournament. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
