Linder, 84, of Decatur, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Adams Woodcrest Assisted Living in Decatur, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was born on June 5, 1940, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to the late Raymond Charles Linder Sr. and Maria Mildred (VanHorn) Linder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"799\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/lg-1.jpg?resize=640%2C799&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-26165\" style=\"width:175px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/lg-1.jpg?w=820&amp;ssl=1 820w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/lg-1.jpg?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/lg-1.jpg?resize=768%2C959&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Clyde was a member of Decatur Grace Fellowship Church. He also was a former member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clyde was employed at Gold Shield as a janitor for nine years. He also was employed at several industries for 38 years prior to Gold Shield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clyde loved fishing and spending time outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Survivors include his sister, Donna Rose Linder of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Paul Linder of Bluffton, Indiana; and best-friend, Vivyan Lloyd of Decatur, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clyde was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ellen Dues, Sara Sims, and Mary Kiser; three brothers, Raymond C. Linder III, Dennis Linder, and Donald Linder; half-brother, Jim VanHorn; and half-sisters, Julia Rose Minear and Marie Jane Bruner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Private services will be held, and burial will be at Decatur Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preferred memorials can be given to Adams Woodcrest Assisted Living.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clyde E.
