Freshmen Lila Ringger and Jillian Brotherton dropped the opening set of their varsity doubles match 6-2 in Berne Thursday, then stormed back to take the final two sets in the deciding match of a tense rivalry between Adams Central and South Adams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victory at No. 2 doubles gave the Jets a sweep of the doubles matches after seniors Macy McClure and Alexa Brotherton won quickly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jets’ No. 1, Melanie Bertsch, won 7-5 in the first set against Ava Kinsey, then turned it up a notch and won 6-1 for the other AC point. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
