Bellmont was beaten 100-30 by the Leo Lions in Tuesday’s track meet in Decatur. The Braves won three events: Maddux Miller took the 1600, Jackson Hicks won the long jump and Alex Schirack claimed the shot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: Officials from Bellmont noted that because of a lack of workers and volunteers, only the top three times were clocked in most of the track events. For this reason, results may not seem as full as WZBD’s normal track and field reports. If you are able to help, please consider contacting the Bellmont athletic department to assist in future meets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-The Braves’ 4×400 team set a new season best and took second with a time of 3:46.60. That team consisted of Harry Gunsett, Xavior Palacios, Jack Riehm and Nehemiah Richmond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Jack Riehm cleared nine feet for the first time this season and freshman Landon Sielschott was right behind him with his first 8-06 of his high school career. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
