South Adams hosted nine varsity teams, Bellmont’s JV and an incomplete Marion team in a 12-team tournament Saturday at Wabash Valley in high school golf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bluffton Tigers won the team event by four strokes over Fremont, with Norwell and Northeastern a ways back in a tie for third. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fremont and Bluffton had three players combined at the medalist mark of 80. The actual award went on tiebreaker to the Eagles’ Jake Hilvers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adams Central’s Drew Johnson cracked the Top Ten with a seventh-place score of 83 to lead Adams County golfers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
