That was the combined score of the Heritage Patriots’ three contests at the end of this week after returning from Spring Break and gaining the requisite practices to compete again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Needless today, the Pats didn’t miss a beat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now 6-0 on the year, the Patriots sandwiched a close 2-0 win over Northrop between two demolitions of local rivals as they got back in the groove with three games in three days to prep for the rest of 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danica Fuller and Hadlee Shipp combined for a no-hitter against lowly New Haven as the team won 17-0. Each hurler hit a batter and were otherwise perfect. Shipp struck out six in her three innings of relief. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the plate, Audra Bickel and Fuller each had home runs, while Abriyah James was 2 for 3 with a triple. Bickel knocked in four runs to lead the Patriots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Patriots then hosted Northrop Friday and won 2-0 as Fuller threw a complete game shutout, striking out five and scattering three hits, the only baserunners of the night for the Bruins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contest was scoreless heading into the bottom of the sixth inning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Libby Cain singled with one out and Abriyah James was plunked, setting up Avi Washington to put the team ahead with a two-run double. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was all the team needed to pick up their fifth win of the year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heritage then dominated Bishop Luers in a rivalry game, dropping ten runs on the Knights in the second inning after Luers tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the frame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luers committed four errors and further complicated their own fate by issuing three walks to Danica Fuller. Fuller had five plate appearances and scored all five times, picking up a triple and a single along the way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abriyah James had a home run and was 3 for 5 with four RBI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fuller pitched a complete (albeit shortened) game, striking out four and allowing one earned run to earn the victory in the 21-2 Patriot win. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Patriots keep up their torrid pace Monday with a home game against Wayne Trace. They’ll play at Snider Tuesday. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
