{"id":24905,"date":"2025-03-27T08:39:10","date_gmt":"2025-03-27T12:39:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=24905"},"modified":"2025-03-27T08:39:12","modified_gmt":"2025-03-27T12:39:12","slug":"russian-ceasefire-dependent-on-ag-sanctions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2025\/03\/27\/russian-ceasefire-dependent-on-ag-sanctions\/","title":{"rendered":"Russian ceasefire dependent on ag sanctions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>NICOLE HESLIP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>BROWNFIELD AG NETWORK<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A marketing analyst says futures have been negatively reacting to the possibility of a renewed Black Sea Grain Deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Angie&nbsp;Setzer is the co-founder of the grain marketing firm Consus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"252\" height=\"144\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/photoless-header-template-Ag-news.jpg?resize=252%2C144&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-501\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen Russia wasn\u2019t getting their way, they then said, okay, we\u2019re pulling out,\u201d she explains. \u201cThat was November of 2023. Initially, everyone thought that that may disrupt the flow of grain out of the region pretty badly, but Ukraine worked with its allies to open up their own corridor of sorts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The U.S. announced it had reached agreements Tuesday with Russia\u00a0and\u00a0Ukraine\u00a0separately\u00a0that would pause attacks in the Black Sea region.\u00a0Part of the meetings between the U.S. and the Kremlin include commitments to restore Russia\u2019s access to the world market for ag and fertilizer exports.
