Trevor Ortiz and Jordan Fuelling also lost their lives in the crash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parents Jeff and Steph Brite, daughter Allie, family members and friends, started the free lessons program to honor Connor, who loved Tom Petty&#8217;s \u201cWildflowers\u201d album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lessons are provided by volunteers in a room leased at the MERIT Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"389\" height=\"321\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Outlook-5ucqnlon.jpg?resize=389%2C321&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24803\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Outlook-5ucqnlon.jpg?w=389&amp;ssl=1 389w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Outlook-5ucqnlon.jpg?resize=300%2C248&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 389px) 100vw, 389px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest class just began with 19 students and will continue through the last week of June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Individual, introductory lessons in keyboard, guitar and drumming are provided, with the students allowed to take home their instruments for practice during the length of the program, which is open to all Adams County students in grades 4 through 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone interested in signing up for the next session should visit&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cjbwildflowers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.cjbwildflowers.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CONCERT SET: It has been announced that this year&#8217;s benefit concert \u2013 the fourth \u2013 will be held Saturday, June 14 on the Madison St. Plaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"333\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Outlook-25wtb24y.jpg?resize=400%2C333&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24804\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Outlook-25wtb24y.jpg?w=400&amp;ssl=1 400w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Outlook-25wtb24y.jpg?resize=300%2C250&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The event, of course, raises funds for the music-lessons program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#8217;s concert, from 6-10 p.m., will feature four bands: Penny Drip, School of Rock, Rogues and Bandits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have sent letters to potential sponsors for our concert and anyone who wants to donate can go to our website at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/cjbwildflowers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cjbwildflowers.com<\/a>,\u201d the Brite family said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since this year will mark the fifth anniversary of the accident, shirts sold at the concert (also before and after) will include three colors to represent each young man: blue for Connor, orange for Trevor and white for Jordan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs always, we appreciate the support of our sponsors, volunteers, community and all donations.
