(Photo by Randy Hisner)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Before that rally, Scott scored the Starfires\u2019 first two buckets of the game\u2014on a put back and baseline jumper\u2014and sophomore Hunter Fields added a free throw to get the Starfires to a 5-5 tie at the 5:18 mark. Then the Panthers made their 12-2 run, led by Luthy\u2019s five points, on a baseline drive and an old-fashioned three point play. A 9-5 second-quarter advantage by the Panthers put them up 26-14 at the half. Tytus Lehman hit a turnaround jumper and a three on the Starfires\u2019 next two possessions to get his team back within 10. Kaiden Jones scored 15 for the Panthers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Starfires drew a bye in the 2A South Adams Sectional and will play next Friday, March 7,&nbsp;&nbsp;against the winner of Tuesday\u2019s game between Bishop Luers and Bluffton.
