{"id":23948,"date":"2025-02-07T16:31:01","date_gmt":"2025-02-07T21:31:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=23948"},"modified":"2025-02-07T16:31:02","modified_gmt":"2025-02-07T21:31:02","slug":"decatur-flag-design-entries-total-35-40","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2025\/02\/07\/decatur-flag-design-entries-total-35-40\/","title":{"rendered":"Decatur flag design entries total 35-40"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>By BOB SHRALUKA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>WZBD.com<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A late rush of filings pushed the number of entries for the Decatur flag design contest into the 30s \u2026 and maybe 40s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entries closed Wednesday and Jenny Bower-Shultz, the city council member who originated the idea for a city flag design, said that after the final flurry she estimated the total number of entries at 35 to 40.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"102\" height=\"157\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/unnamed-48.jpg?resize=102%2C157&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23949\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI will be sorting through them in the next few weeks,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the deadline, a committee will select the top five designs.
