{"id":23875,"date":"2025-02-04T13:48:10","date_gmt":"2025-02-04T18:48:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=23875"},"modified":"2025-02-04T13:48:13","modified_gmt":"2025-02-04T18:48:13","slug":"connie-walker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2025\/02\/04\/connie-walker\/","title":{"rendered":"Connie Walker"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Connie Walker, age 77, of Portland passed away on Monday February 3, 2025 in Persimmon Ridge Healthcare.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was born in Portland on July 9, 1947 the daughter of Maxwell and Suzanna (Upp) Compton.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was married on August 15, 1965 to Perry Walker who survives.&nbsp;&nbsp;Connie had worked in the deli at Marsh Supermarket, Dairy Queen and CVS.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was a 1965 Portland High School graduate and was an avid bowler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"398\" height=\"566\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Connie-Walker.jpg?resize=398%2C566&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23876\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Connie-Walker.jpg?w=398&amp;ssl=1 398w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Connie-Walker.jpg?resize=211%2C300&amp;ssl=1 211w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 398px) 100vw, 398px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Surviving is her husband Perry, two sons Kevin Walker of Berne and Randy Walker (wife Melissa) of Mt.
