A long road trip to Tipton left the team a bit tired and it showed in the first half. He had 13 points already at halftime, but had a memorable second half and finished with a whopping 40 total, going a remarkable 18 of 19 from the free throw line. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Braylend Reber finished with nine points, while Drew Johnson had seven and Cooper Steele added six.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Jets have another long road trip scheduled Thursday at Fremont. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Heritage 58 Eastside 33<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Patriots jumped to 9-6 on the year with a less stressful victory over the Eastside Blazers, winning the non-conference tilt by 25. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Landon Lybarger, whose high-pressure free throws Friday won the game against AC, led the Patriots with 16 points. He knocked down a triple set of threes in the second quarter to give the Patriots a lead headed into halftime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/API_Small.bmp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18308\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Braden Walter added 12 points in the victory for Heritage, who had nine players reach the scoring column. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heritage will look for a third successive victory Thursday at Canterbury (6-8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>South Adams 31 Whitko 29<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coach Kyle Roe&#8217;s team seems to be trending in the right direction ahead of a big test at Woodlan Thursday as they won their third in a row Saturday, holding on at home to beat Whitko by two. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tytus Lehman&#8217;s shot in the paint with just under two to play but South Adams up 29-26 and he knocked down two big free throws to put the game away in the final minute, finishing with a game-high 16 points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\"
