Guenthner smashed two home runs in her first two plate appearances against the Eagles with a three-run shot to center in the first and a two-run bomb in the third inning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avi Washington also touched Busco\u2019s Emma Walters for a home run, a solo shot to lead off the bottom of the fourth.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danica Fuller allowed just three hits in 6.1 innings, striking out eight without allowing a run. She threw the first five innings, then gave way to Lucy Buuck in the sixth, but had to reenter the game to get the final out of the sixth inning after five runs had scored and two runners were on. Washington made a key play, fielding a ground ball hit to her at third cleanly to get out of trouble. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fuller was 2 for 3 at the plate, while Abriyah James was 2 for 4 with two stolen bases ahead of Guenthner in the lineup, scoring twice.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
