Madison Witte took second and third-place ribbons in Saturday’s conference meet at Norwell. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notes & Times: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ella Hockemeyer lowered her season-best time in the 200 Free and claimed fifth place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Witte moved to the top of the leaderboard this season among Adams County swimmers with her second-place time of 26.61 in the 50. It also represented a career best for the senior. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Morgan Brames’ time in the 50 was her best of the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Madison Witte also set a season best in the 100 Free, trimming four tenths from her previous mark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Junior Ella Hockemeyer set a new career mark in the 100 Free. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Shaylin McCray was fifth in the 500 with a time 17 seconds better than her previous season mark. It was also the fastest time of any county swimmer this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Brames, Hockemeyer and Witte teamed up with freshman Izabella Werling to take the second-place ribbon in the 200 Free Relay with a season-best time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Witte also anchored the 400 relay team to a new season-best time with McCray, Hockemeyer and freshman Tori McCullough. The time for the Braves’ distance relay team was nine seconds better than any other attempt this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
