{"id":22663,"date":"2024-12-21T06:34:20","date_gmt":"2024-12-21T11:34:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=22663"},"modified":"2024-12-21T06:34:20","modified_gmt":"2024-12-21T11:34:20","slug":"city-of-decatur-sets-holiday-schedule","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2024\/12\/21\/city-of-decatur-sets-holiday-schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"City of Decatur sets holiday schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The City of Decatur has announced its holiday hours for City Hall and trash\/recycling collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monday and Tuesday collections will stay the same next week, but the Wednesday through Friday pickups will be delayed one day, finishing up on Saturday, Dec.28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following week, Monday and Tuesday will again be on the same days as usual, but there will be no collection on Wednesday New Year&#8217;s Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Wednesday route will be collected Thursday, along with the normal Thursday pickups. Friday will stay the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an added accommodation to residents, the sanitation department will accept extra bagged trash and recycling \u2013 such as cardboard \u2013 for these two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone with questions may call (260) 724-3356.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CITY HALL: City Hall will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday each of the next two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Utility payments may be made at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofdecatur.ingov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.cityofdecatur.ingov<\/a>, officials said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They also may be made at drop box behind City Hall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The City of Decatur has announced its holiday hours for City Hall and trash\/recycling collections.
