Like they will have to do all season, the South Adams Starfires overcame their forfeits at 215 and 285 to beat Coldwater Thursday, scoring six falls against the Cavaliers in the win. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brock Sprunger saw his first action this season as the Stars filled 12 weight classes for the first time and he came up with a first-period fall to knot the dual meet at 12-12. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Adams won the next three bouts, but Coldwater fought back to win three of the next four to bring the match to 36-30 with the home team leading. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isaiah Meyer, Nathan Plattner and Wes Summersett each won with bonus points to close out the victory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
