Bellmont hosted Blackford for a co-ed swim meet Thursday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

GIRLS’ MEET<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notes & Times: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Freshman Tori McCullough scored her first career victory with a career-best time in the 200 Free. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Morgan Brames cut .8 seconds from her previous season best to win the 50 in 30.85. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Senior Shaylin McCray had a great time to win the butterfly (1:17.39) and will look to set a new PR in her next attempt. Her career best is a 1:16.42, coincidentally also against Blackford last season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-The relay team of Brames, McCray, Ella Hockemeyer and Madison Witte set a new season best for the team in the 200 Free Relay, winning in 1:58.66. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Logan Whitacre set another career best to beat out both Blackford divers and score first-place points with 191.35 points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Freshman Ben Goble won the 200 with a time of 2:13.35. Only his older brother, Oliver, has gone faster this season amongst county swimmers (2:12.53). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Sophomore Samson Owens was second behind Goble in the 200 with a new career best. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Zayne Roop swam a career-best time in the 50 and won. Roop also won the 100 Free. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Freshman Owen Garcia swam a career best in the Fly and took third in 1:11.38. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Oliver Werling swam the 500 for the first time and came in under six minutes, winning in 5:58.66. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
