Freshman Ashley Bleke knocked down four three-pointers and led the Braves in scoring with 16 points, helping the home team overcome a night with too many turnovers in the second half. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Braves struggled to pull away from Dwenger despite dominating early in the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dwenger drew as close as 27-25 with a free throw from Matlilyn Johannsen with four minutes to play in the third. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They led 35-28 going into the final quarter before Ashley knocked down two threes and her twin sister, Mary, had a couple of buckets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kate Kitson kept the Saints at a safe distance with a pair of threes in the third quarter on her way to an eight-point night. Her three after two missed free throws that would have tied the game at 27-all was the key bucket of the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manchester 48 Adams Central 35<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ava Stafford scored eight of her team-high 13 points in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough for the Jets to close the gap against Manchester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jets got off to a poor start, making just two buckets in the first quarter. They recovered to cut the lead to 23-19 at halftime, but Adams Central made just one basket in the third quarter to fall too far behind the Squires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The loss moves the young Jets to 0-4 on the year. They will jump right back on the court when they play at Blackford Wednesday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

FW Wayne 58 Heritage 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kamoni Grayson had 24 points to lead the Generals past Heritage Tuesday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Audra Bickel had three buckets in the first half and Audrey Meyer knocked down a pair of threes for the Patriots. Both ended up being team leaders in scoring despite not scoring in the second half. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Patriots had just nine made field goals in four quarters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
