Lorna M. Marbach, 89, of Decatur, Indiana passed away early Friday morning, November 15, 2024, at Adams Woodcrest in Decatur, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was born on September 9, 1935, in Allen County, Indiana to the late Karl and Anna (Witte) Bradtmueller. On September 17, 1955, she married Herbert C. Marbach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lorna was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Decatur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She served her family as a homemaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lorna enjoyed and was talented at embroidery and working in the garden. Over the years, Herb and Lorna enjoyed playing cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Marbach of Decatur, Indiana; son, Rex (Donna) Marbach of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Bonnie (Gary) Masterson of Wabash, Indiana; daughter Brenda (Ed) Fifer of Monroeville, Indiana; son, Ronald (Lori) Marbach of Decatur, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Christopher Masterson, Tyler (Merry) Masterson, Jessica (Doug) Wyant, Nicolas (Blair) Fifer, Emma (Logan) Franke, Camie (Riley) Hormann, and Corey (Megan) Marbach; 13 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; three step-grandchildren, Douglas (Kelsey) Masterson, Stephanie Martin, and Adam Masterson; four step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lorna was preceded in death by a son, Donald Marbach; two sisters, Marcella Driscoll & Arline Wilkinson; and four brothers, Norman, Elvin, Clarence, and Karl Bradtmueller. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Services are pending announcement.<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preferred memorials can be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or St. Peter Immanuel Lutheran School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
