Kenneth Stone, age 71, a resident of Geneva, passed away on November 7, 2024 at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kenneth was born on February 27, 1953 in Portland the son of Raymond and Olga Louise (Armstrong) Stone. Kenneth graduated from Purdue University. Kenneth worked for EPC in Geneva, GE in Kentucky, Nelson Global in Ft. Wayne, Tenneco Automotive in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Basal Solutions in Michigan, and Areotek all as an engineer. In his spare time Kenneth designed and built a machine to manufacture exhaust systems for Ford Motor Company, GMC, and Chrysler.  He attended Church of God of Prophecy in Portland and was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed woodworking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Kenneth married Rose Tan Sabio on March 25, 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His wife: Rose Stone \u2013 Geneva<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 sons: Mike Stone (wife Aubrey) \u2013 Fort Wayne<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Dulce Sabio \u2013 Geneva, Indiana<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 daughters: Kendi Wickey (husband Amos) \u2013 Bryant<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    Trisia Hudson (husband Jason) \u2013 Marion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    Kara Stone \u2013 Memphis, Tennessee<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brother: Roger Stone (wife Sandra) \u2013 Portland<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 sisters: Vicki Corle (husband Roger) Portland<\/p>\n\n\n\n

               Susie Reitenour (husband Rocky) \u2013 Portland<\/p>\n\n\n\n

               Connie Hiatt (Husband Todd) \u2013 Portland<\/p>\n\n\n\n

               Tina Cavanaugh (husband Chris) \u2013 Portland<\/p>\n\n\n\n

               Tammy Wilhelm \u2013 Portland<\/p>\n\n\n\n

15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was preceded in death by a brother Jim Stone and nephews Jerry Stone, and Herman Tyler Stone.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitation will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Green Park Cemetery in Portland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
