The Allen County Coroner’s office announced Wednesday that a Decatur woman was the victim in a three-vehicle traffic accident which occurred last Friday in Fort Wayne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robin Pagley, 51, died at the scene of blunt force trauma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The accident occurred about 4:15 p.m. at Maumee Avenue and South Anthony Boulevard, near the Indiana Tech campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The news release said a Fort Wayne Fire Department was on an emergency run and collided with the Pagley vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Journal Gazette reported that an earlier news release from Battalion Chief Matt Peckham said the fire department received a report of a traffic accident and was responding to that Friday when its own vehicle apparently collided with another one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A third vehicle was reportedly involved in the crash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No other details were released as the fire department said an investigation is continuing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The accident victim was born in New Castle, PA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funeral services will be held on Monday October 28, at 1 p.m. in Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, Columbus, Indiana. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the service, she will be laid to rest in New Bellsville Cemetery in Brown County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
