{"id":20503,"date":"2024-10-08T14:34:52","date_gmt":"2024-10-08T18:34:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=20503"},"modified":"2024-10-08T14:34:54","modified_gmt":"2024-10-08T18:34:54","slug":"decatur-bridge-to-gain-new-lighting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2024\/10\/08\/decatur-bridge-to-gain-new-lighting\/","title":{"rendered":"Decatur bridge to gain new lighting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>By BOB SHRALUKA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>WZBD.com<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barring the unforeseen, the hundreds of people participating in Decatur&#8217;s Callithumpian Parade on Oct. 28 will be seeing a little more of the Wendell Macklin Bridge on Monroe St. as they pass over it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At its latest meeting, the city&#8217;s board of works and safety approved an expenditure of $12,800 to have a new light erected at the bridge.
