Blaine L. Miller, 82, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 in Decatur, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was born on July 14, 1942 in Evans City, Pennsylvania to the late John Ernest and Eva Jane (Rape) Miller.
Blaine was in in the Army National Guard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Blaine was united in marriage to Sally Burk on January 13, 1966 in Mercer County Pennsylvania, and she survives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He worked for International Harvester for over 30 years. He then went to work for J-MAR Trucking, from where he retired in 2004.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Blaine enjoyed driving race cars in his younger years, and his love of cars continued his entire life. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. He also enjoyed a good game of golf, and even had a hole in one to his credit. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Survivors include his wife, Sally Miller of Pensacola, Florida; daughter, Raylene Pollio of Louisville, Kentucky; son, Rick (Jeanel) Ross of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Michele (Mike) Shaffer of Decatur, Indiana; son, Shane (Crystal) Miller of Fisherville, Kentucky; son, Ryan Miller of Pensacola, Florida; brother, Mark (Audra) Miller of Evans City, Pennsylvania; fourteen grandchildren, Jade, Claire, John Michael, Cassie, Cortnie, Connor, Carson, Carter, Brandyn, Brant, Baylen, Mindy, Duncan, and Justin; thirteen great-grandchildren, Caleb, Preston, Rhett, Linus, Clark, Mia, Ellie, Haylen, Cayden, Riley, Logan, Aria, and one on the way; and one great-great-grandchild, Oliver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to his parents, Blaine was preceded in death by his son, Blaine Alan Miller; his sister, Karen Sheller; and his son-in-law, John Pollio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Per the family\u2019s wishes, there will be no services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
