A score of 176 on the back nine at Timber Ridge was a solid message to the rest of the field for Friday’s sectional that the Norwell Knights are ready to grab one of the three spots available for the regional. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ellie Gatton took medalist honors with a 40 for the Knights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Julia Arnold shot a 48 and Megan Yoder finished with a 58 for South Adams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This was the last regular season match for Julia and for Megan (shown below)<\/em>,” noted head coach Chris Toledo. “The greens were like putting on glass with how dry it is.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arnold and Yoder will attempt to keep their high school golf careers alive Friday at Chestnut Hills. The seniors will tee off as the #1 and #2, respectively, for South Adams at 9:30, playing with their counterparts from Adams Central and Canterbury. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
