Southern Wells registered an impressive victory on the front nine at Wabash Valley, shooting 187 to beat South Adams handily Thursday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With all three Adams County teams taking this coming Saturday off to give the girls a break before the conference meets and the sectional the week after, Thursday was the end of the playing week for all three schools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kendall Minger played her best front nine of the season on Rainbow Lake and shot a 54. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Callie Ripperger was medalist for the Raiders with a 44, while Julia Arnold was best for SA with a 46. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Adams and Adams Central will square off Monday at Wabash Valley in an important ACAC meet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our high scores are coming primarily from around the green,” said SA head coach Chris Toledo of his team’s short game. “Southern Wells played great and were much stronger than I anticipated. Hats off to them.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
