Adams Central squeaked by with a 3-2 win over Bellmont Tuesday on their home courts, but it felt like a missed opportunity for BHS coach Kyle Arnold, who had to settle for a close loss without his best player. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We inserted Kasey (Teeter) at No. 1 with Hayden (Huss) home sick today,” noted Arnold. “I felt with our full lineup that this was a team we could beat, but the boys played hard tonight.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teeter, who is new to the sport, fell to AC’s No. 1, Logan Heiman, but the Braves won the other two singles matches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The match at No. 3 singles went all the way to the super tiebreaker, with Larry Knous winning the race to 10 points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adams Central did not drop a set in the doubles matches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
