The three summer holidays may be over, but another big week of entertainment in Decatur kicks off Thursday night and continues Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And a few miles south, the town of Monroe will host its annual \u201cday\u201d on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the biggest attractions of each year, the St. Marys Parish Fall Fest, opens Saturday in Decatur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things get going Thursday night with Adams Health Network’s annual Senior Living Night on the Madison Street Plaza, starting at 5:30 p.m. and continuing until 8:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highly popular Sweetwater All-Stars, who played the plaza just two weeks earlier, will be back again, performing at 5:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening for the All-Stars will be Bellmont High School student, Jayleena Hill, singing at 5:15. She had been scheduled for a Chamber summer series two weeks earlier, but had to back out due to illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AHN officials said food trucks will be available, prizes will be awarded, and a cash bar will offer wine slushies, beer and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FALL FEST: The parish fall fest begins at 4 p.m. Saturday with a Mass, then the food tent opens at 5, along with silent and Chinese auctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Super Bingo will begin at 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunglasses at Night will perform from 7 to 11 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday will be highlighted by kid games. The food tent will open at noon, and Razz M’ Jazz will perform at 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CAR SHOW: Also next Sunday, the Adams County Historical Society will hold its annual car show at the Dugan Museum, just across the street from the Fall Fest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Car show hours will be 1 to 4 p.m. Museum officials said vintage cars of 1950 and older will be on display, along with antique fire trucks and motorcycles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No admission will be charged. Popcorn and sno cones will be available and door prizes will be awarded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first floor of the museum will open for touring during the car show hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MONROE DAY: Family fun and games are promoted as the Town of Monroe holds its annual Monroe Day Saturday from 4-8 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A car show will be held, with registration starting at 3, and live music is also on tap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the events will be a dunk tank, pedal pulls, and ax throwing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food vendors will be on hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
