The Braves responded with their first win of the season and a clean sheet against the Eagles, winning 2-0 to get off to a good start on what feels like the start of the “real” season for coach Steve Lee’s team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A goal by senior Anna Ruble and a converted PK by Gwen Laurent were exactly what the Braves need to get off on the right foot on the pursuit for another NE8 title. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both teams will play Norwell for their next fixture, with the Knights playing CC on Saturday and then Bellmont on Tuesday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
