The Norwell Knights showed their superiority Thursday with a convincing win on the back nine at Cross Creek to beat the Bellmont Braves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Norwell shot a 189, with No. 1 Ellie Gatton taking medalist honors with a 42. Gatton’s game was on full display Thursday as she played the three long Par 5s on the circuit at even par. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Savanna Zimmerman had an excellent birdie on the Par 3 13th hole for the Knights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Braves round of 231 was not their best golf, but they did get two solid scores from their No. 4 and 5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ava Billman recorded her best back nine of the season and shot 62, with bogeys on 16 and 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lyla Post cut eight strokes from her previous back nine trot, shooting 59 and finishing with the second best round on the team behind No. 1 Ella Hockemeyer, who shot a 50 (also her best round of year on those nine holes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
