Adams Central clinched the ACAC tennis title with a win over Jay County with No. 1 Hillary Tobias sweeping a third-set tiebreak to secure the trophy for the Jets.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very exciting for our team,\u201d said head coach Jessica Disinger, whose focus will now turn to winning a sectional title as the season reaches its final weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tobias won her first set in a tiebreaker, then could not hold serve in the second against Brenna Haines and the two top singles players went to the decisive third.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adams Central scored two early points with wins at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jets are set to travel to Homestead Monday and they will finish up the regular season against Blackhawk Thursday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
