A career-best round by Megan Yoder and the usual solid play by Julia Arnold helped the South Adams Starfires to a sixth-place finish at the Wabash Invite played at Honeywell Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Stars shot 469 in some unpleasant weather conditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The course was in very good shape,” noted coach Chris Toledo, “but we had every type of weather. It was rainy, windy, cool, then muggy.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conditions didn’t help the Starfires’ efforts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It was really nice when we left,” chuckled the coach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Megan Yoder shot 107 for the best round of her career to finish as the top scorer for the Starfires, just outside the top ten individually. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
