Eligible candidates are Adams County residents and are currently in college or plan to attend college this fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were several individual awards presented at the ACCF Scholarship award event, but several students earned the John and Kay Boch Scholarships.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Boch Scholarship Fund &#8211; John, Decatur retired Decatur postmaster, and Kay, owner of the popular \u2018Kiddie Shop\u2019 on Second Street across from the Decatur Daily Democrat offices, had been leaders in the philanthropic giving in Adams County.\u00a0 Establishing a supporting organization in the Adams County Community Foundation in 1996, this fund provided stability to the Foundation.\u00a0 Growing the fund to over $5,000,000, nephew Robert Boch oversaw the investment and the distribution of the grants and scholarships.
