The 2024 version of the league began with 143 clubs from across the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"513\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/image0-15.jpeg?resize=640%2C513&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17686\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/image0-15.jpeg?resize=1024%2C821&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/image0-15.jpeg?resize=300%2C240&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/image0-15.jpeg?resize=768%2C616&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/image0-15.jpeg?w=1512&amp;ssl=1 1512w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/image0-15.jpeg?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After beating FC Milwaukee Torrent in the opening playoff game 4-1, FC Pride defeated the top team in the nation, Sioux Falls City FC, in a shootout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That win pitted the team against Union KC for a spot in the final four and Gilbert&#8217;s team succeeded 2-1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FC Pride will now travel to Oklahoma City to take on Charlotte Lady Eagles for a spot in the national championship.
