Becky Fahl, the Hope Clinic Office manager, expressed appreciation for the baby supplies, which will provide multiple families with necessary items for their babies.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Audra Snyder, ACCF Board and grants committee member, added that this will be an annual gift to the Hope Clinic as the Johnson family remembers the ACCF and this community in their estate plans.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We celebrate this Adams County couple for the support they left for many organizations.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earl and Pam Johnson wanted to do something special for their community.\u00a0They contacted the ACCF when they were\u00a0making their estate-planning arrangements.\u00a0They had dreams of helping many, and they trusted the Adams County Community Foundation to follow through with these wishes.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“If you know someone like the Johnsons, and wish to remember our community in your estate plans, please talk with your attorney or call the ACCF to make these arrangements,” said an ACCF official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pamela and\u00a0Earl Johnson were wonderfully generous to Adams County.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Though legally blind, Earl Johnson did not allow this challenge to interrupt his walks around Decatur.\u00a0Well-known in Decatur as a kind and loving spirit, he owned and operated Mi-La-Dee Beauty Salon for over 40 years.\u00a0In 1974 he married his beloved Pam McCoy and they shared 38 years together.\u00a0Pam worked for Do-It-Best Corporation for 44 years.\u00a0They were active members of the Decatur Church of God and loved Adams County.\u00a0Earl established various funds to return support to a community they so enjoyed.
