Rose Marie Clem, 92, of New Bremen, Ohio and former longtime resident of Johnstown, Ohio passed away June 12, 2024, at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, Ohio.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose was born July 17, 1931 in Hamilton, Ohio. She was united in marriage to Jack William Clem October 12, 1951; they celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary prior to his death in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose graduated from Utica High School, class of 1949. She had a career as a secretary for Ohio Foundation Seeds, Inc., for over 30 years prior to her retirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose was a member of the Croton Church of Christ in Hartford, Ohio, and a member of the Angels and Astronauts Child Conservation League in Johnstown, Ohio and the Licking County TWIGS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose loved being with her family and friends, always enjoying shopping trips and playing cards.  If buying raffle tickets, she seemed to be the lucky one.  She was an avid Ohio State University Buckeye fan and never missed watching the televised football and basketball games.  She and Jack enjoyed their retirement by spending winters in their Florida home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Survivors include her son Jeff Clem of Denver, CO and daughter Leeann \u201cAnnie\u201d Fanslow of Anna, OH; five grandchildren, Shannon (Dan) Johnson, Cassandra (Zach) Robinson, Garrett (Emily) Clem, Wendy (Andrew) Lemon, Brittany (Joseph) Claar; six great grandchildren, Cole, Hannah, Nora, Zoe, Clifford and Daphne; seven nieces; and numerous cousins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose was preceded in death by her parents John E. Nesbit II and Maude A. Nesbit, husband Jack Clem; son Steve Clem; sister Martha Fogg and brothers John E Nesbit III and Harold Nesbit; brothers-in-law James Clem, George McNemar and Don Fogg; sisters-in-law Inez McNemar, Loris Clem, Jane Clem, and Marty Nesbit; nephew John E. Nesbit IV; and son-in-law William \u201cBill\u201d Fanslow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the Croton Church of Christ with Pastor Terry Erwin and Pastor Dan Hamilton officiating.  Burial will be at the Hartford Cemetery, Croton, Ohio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Family and Friends will be received from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the Croton Church of Christ located at 40 S Main St, Hartford, OH 43013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preferred memorials may be made to the Croton Church of Christ. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
