{"id":17204,"date":"2024-06-13T08:26:19","date_gmt":"2024-06-13T12:26:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=17204"},"modified":"2024-06-13T11:01:36","modified_gmt":"2024-06-13T15:01:36","slug":"sheriffs-office-investigating-death-of-decatur-man","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2024\/06\/13\/sheriffs-office-investigating-death-of-decatur-man\/","title":{"rendered":"Sheriff&#8217;s office investigating death of Decatur man"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Adams County Sheriff&#8217;s Office is currently conducting a thorough investigation into a recent death that occurred within the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/PoliceReport6132024.mp3\"><\/audio><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>WZBD&#8217;s Rob Weaver reports on traffic and arrests in Adams County. <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>According to the office of Sheriff Dan Mawhorr, &#8220;authorities are working diligently to gather all pertinent information and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>&#8220;Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of the deceased during<br>this difficult time,&#8221; said Mawhorr in a press release. &#8220;We are committed to conducting a comprehensive investigation to uncover the facts and provide answers.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The Adams County Coroner has identified the deceased as Shaun P.
